Kary H. Lasch is known as a fashion and magazine photographer. Now, we showcase a different side of him. Here, children and the city take center stage. The images capture Stockholm from the early 1950s to the late 1960s. We follow Lasch on his walks, where he uses his Hasselblad camera to capture spontaneous moments of everyday life in his uniquely playful and curious way.

Born in Prague in 1914, Lasch made Stockholm the base for his international career. His work featured some of the biggest names in art and entertainment, including Picasso, Dalí, and Bardot, gracing magazine covers worldwide. At his passing in 1993, he left behind a legacy of nearly 500,000 photographs.
