Queer Stockholm

Date:

Time:

Location: Östermalm, central Stockholm

Price: 75–150 SEK

Join us for a city walk about the queer history of Stockholm, from the late 1800s until today.

Queer Stockholm gives a historical glimpse at the sexual culture of the city and the diverse lives of LGBTQ people in Stockholm, from the 19th century onwards.

During our walk, we visit a number of places in the capital that have been associated with sexual expectations and possibilities, but also constraints — from nightclubs, bathhouses, and cruising parks to private homes and public toilets. We also look at the historical links between sexuality and the city at large.
