Performers

Susanna Levonen, vocals

Levonen captures the essence of passion and melancholy in her tango interpretations. Her powerful, nuanced voice touches both heart and soul, providing an authentic sense of tango’s origins while adding a modern touch. Each note and phrase is an emotional journey. Levonen is also a soloist at the Norrland Opera.

Jens Lundberg, bandoneon

Lundberg studied with bandoneon virtuosos such as Juan José Mosalini in Paris and Nestor Marconi and Walter Rios in Buenos Aires. He has performed as a soloist and with ensembles worldwide. His repertoire ranges from traditional tango and “Tango Nuevo” to baroque and classical music. He is considered one of Scandinavia’s leading tango experts and bandoneonists.

David Härenstam, guitar

Härenstam is known for his successful concerts. He has played in ensembles like Duo Sparf/Härenstam and Duo Härenstam/Weurlander. He has released internationally acclaimed albums and collaborated with musicians such as Bengt Forsberg and Andreas Brantelid. He tours globally and is the artistic director of In Between Music Festival and Stockholm Chamber Music.

The event is being held with the support of the Swedish Arts Council.
