Terms of booking
Some of the City Museum’s events require you to have a ticket.
Free admission to the museum
Discover Stockholm’s history over 500 years in the Stockholm exhibition on three levels. There is also free admission to our temporary exhibitions.
Tickets for events
You can buy or book tickets online or at the museum entrance with a card or Swish. Tickets are booked in advance for our public walks, guided tours and lectures.
Ticket link is available on the event’s website.
Your tickets will be sent to your email address so you can print them on your own printer. It is also possible to show your ticket on your mobile phone. Each ticket has a unique code that is checked upon admission.
Purchased tickets are not refunded.
See current program information online
Events can be sold out or fully booked. Lecturers or guides may become ill or have other obstacles that require programs to be canceled at short notice. Meeting places can be changed, although it does not happen often.
So make it a habit to always go to the program’s website before your visit and see current information.
Refund for canceled programs
If you have purchased a ticket with a card for a program that is canceled, you will automatically receive a refund to the card. It may take a few days for the refund to appear on the account.

Half price for children
If you are under 19 years old, you pay half price for our walks and tours. In the e-service for ticket purchase, select the “Children” option under Select price. Does not apply to fee-based family programs and special events.
Escort
An escort accompanies a person with a paid ticket at no cost. Contact our Booking Office via our form and we will arrange a place!
