Meet new and old friends over a lunch or Swedish fika, enjoy homemade cakes and pastries or grab a sandwich.
Summer update: Lunch break, renovations, and summer kiosk
From June 16 to August 11, we are taking a break from our daily lunch specials and will instead be serving dishes from our regular menu (try our meatballs!).
Additionally, from June 26 to July 19, we are renovating indoors! The café will be closed during this time, but we are moving outside. Welcome to our summer kiosk in the courtyard for coffee/tea, cold drinks, ice cream, and delicious cookies!
Opening hours
Open until 30 minutes before the museum closes. Hot dishes are served until 1 hour before closing.
Cashless payment
The café is cashless, pay with card or Swish.
Regular menu
The menu varies daily depending on the season and the availability of ingredients. There are always vegetarian and vegan options for both food and dessert. If you have special dietary requirements, ask at the checkout, we can usually adapt a dish for you.

Soup
Creamy asparagus soup with croutons. SEK 95.
Pie
Västerbotten cheese pie with basil oil and prosciutto. Served with homemade bread and spreads. SEK 120.
Hot dishes
Including side salad, bread, spreads plus coffee/tea.
- Cured salmon with creamed dill potatoes and lemon. SEK 145.
- Homemade meatballs in creamy gravy with mashed potatoes; served with lingonberries and fresh pickled cucumber. SEK 145.
- Parsnip and potatoe patties with cheese cream sauce, paprika sauce and basil oil; served on whole wheat salad. SEK 145.
Children’s menu
- Pancake with jam and whipped cream, SEK 15 each.
- All our hot dishes as half size portion, SEK 60.
Cookies och sandwiches
- Homebaked smaller cookies, SEK 15.
- Homebaked cakes, SEK 35.
- Museum sandwiches. The offers vary daily but often you can find Creamy Shrimp Salad, Salmon, Roast Beef, Meatballs, Chèvre and Falafel (Vegan). SEK 40 (or 3 for SEK 100).
Beverages
- Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, SEK 25.
- Cold drinks, SEK 15–25.
