Summer update: move-in, renovation and lunch service
Our café has now moved back inside the museum! While the kitchen renovation is still ongoing, we are once again able to offer hearty sandwiches, coffee and tea, cold beverages, and pastries.
Starting August 1, we will once again be serving hot meals from the café’s à la carte menu. And from August 25, our daily lunch specials will return!
Opening hours
Open until 30 minutes before the museum closes. Hot dishes are served until 1 hour before closing.
Cashless payment
The café is cashless, pay with card or Swish.
Regular menu
The menu varies daily depending on the season and the availability of ingredients. There are always vegetarian and vegan options for both food and dessert. If you have special dietary requirements, ask at the checkout. We can usually adapt a dish for you.
We offer a selection of the following:
Soup
Creamy asparagus soup with croutons. SEK 95.
Pie
Västerbotten cheese pie with basil oil and prosciutto. Served with homemade bread and spreads. SEK 120.
Hot dishes
Including side salad, bread, spreads plus coffee/tea.
- Cured salmon with creamed dill potatoes and lemon. SEK 145.
- Homemade meatballs in creamy gravy with mashed potatoes; served with lingonberries and fresh pickled cucumber. SEK 145.
- Parsnip and potato patties with cheese cream sauce, paprika sauce and basil oil; served on whole wheat salad. SEK 145.
Children’s menu
- Pancake with jam and whipped cream, SEK 15 each.
- All our hot dishes are available as a half-size portion, SEK 60.
Cookies and sandwiches
- Home-baked cookies, SEK 15.
- Home-baked cakes, SEK 35.
- Museum sandwiches. The selection varies daily, but often you can find Creamy Shrimp Salad, Salmon, Roast Beef, Meatballs, Chèvre and Falafel (Vegan). SEK 40 (or 3 for SEK 100).
Beverages
- Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, SEK 25.
- Cold drinks, SEK 15–25.
